indie gigs

I'm posting here another question for my indie rock project.
well, where do you normally stand in gigs and why?
i've noticed a few times that younger fans always opt for the front because it's more exciting, but older ones prefer to stand more at the back where there is less enthusiasm and where they "vibrate internally".
i've also read that some of the older fans used to choose to stand in the front when they were younger, but then decided to enjoy the gigs in a differeny way by moving to the back, perhaps because they are more mature.
would you agree with me?

Re: indie gigs

yeh thats the way it works at most gigs id say
usually stand in the middleish, i cant stand close to the front, i did bt then i fainted because it gets too hot n stuff and ppl r a bugger at gigs for not helpin ya out or at least movin when ur half collapsed... i value my life. i guess that works for the whole, more energy and maddness at the front, safer towards the back
