Re: Great soundtracks!

I keep hearing ROTK in my head a lot these days.

It's great the way the music mixes for the most part.

And what's pretty surprising is how the singing parts actually really work this time.

Yeah I like the Soundtracks to the films as well. The pirates of the caribbean is also quite good.

Re: Great soundtracks!

I've always been fond of The Jungle Book and other Disney soundtracks. As far as the LOTR and other recent movies, I can't afford them so have never listened to them. This may be something I'll have to check into sometime.

I agree with all of the those Soundtracks Amidala. I have to add "Chicago," "City of Angels," and "Forest Gump."

Re: Great soundtracks!

Some of my faves:

Natural Born Killers: a scary, VERY eclectic (Leonard Cohen, L7, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, CArly Simon, Nine Inch Nails and more...) soundtrack and a great pendant to the movie.

The Crow - A brilliant collection of dark, beautiful songs. ANd soundtrack with Henry Rollins on it has to be a winner

Last Action Hero - A great set of rocking songs, including classic stuff by Megadeth and Alice In Chains.

Demon Knight - Some great metal stuff. The Megadeth song is outstanding.

Oh Brother, WHere Art Thou? That old country/blues stuff just sticks in my head! Man of constant sorrows...

The Crow
Pulp Fiction
Dazed And Confused
Forrest Gump
Judgment Night only for the Faith No More/ Boo Yaa Tribe duet
Murder Was The Case for the Ice Cube/ Dr. Dre madness
Natural Born Killers
Dead Man Walking
The Good The Bad And The Ugly (don't normally care too much for background scores but this one was quite incredible).
