Location: Rowed Out Records was started to get bands who play in a 60s garage or powerpop style heard on vinyl and CD. Something real instead of downloading. Four releases so far and more in the pipeline. Adam - Rowed Out Records www.myspace.com/soullikefi

New mod / powerpop / 60s garage 7" out

Hello - shameless plug for the brand new release on ROWED OUT RECORDS

ROR004 - "Do it for Kicks !"

Another installment in the 'Seven Inch E.P. Series', following on from the well-received "Join the tea set".

This time the bands up for grabs are;

THE UNDERCLASS STRIFE from Devon - pure '79 Jam-style powerpop from up and coming band featured in NME and other publication s.

THE SCREENBEATS are the other band on Side One. Formerly THE SHAKE (ROR001), this band from Newbury add more soul-punkery to their catalogue.

Side Two opens with Manchester's finest THE PATTERNS, you can expect more Medway garage madness from this top band. Think Prisoners, Daggermen, Billy Childish etc.

Finally THE LOST 45s finish the E.P. with 'She's outta sight'. A great Zombies style beat track from the finest purveyors of 60s British RnB.

So there you have it, four of the best new UK bands to proudly wear their obvious mod influences on their sleeves.

This new E.P. is on lovely VINYL again and limited to 300 copies, so be Q-U-I-C-K as this will fly out.

You have been warned !!!!!!

THE PRICE – a mere £3.29 inc P&P to the UK, £4.00 to Europe and £4.50 to the US & Japan. PayPal accepted at no extra charge! - contact me for more details perlease
