When they first came out I was going to be visiting a friend in London. I almost took a train to Paris to see them perform! It seemed silly though since they are from a city about 10minutes from where I live. Please let this album get leaked soon!! Been waiting forever for it.

I saw Cold War Kids last year in Wolverhampton (supported by Patrick Watson). They were superb. Mark Beaumont did give them a terrible review, and they got a bad review for Loyalty to Loyalty in the latest edition of Q so I'm not sure whether to get the album...I'll wait for the first single to come out and make my mind up then!

I'll be picking this one up for sure. Loved Robbers & Cowards.

I'm seeing them live for the first time in October. Anyone seen them live?

The CD is good, pretty similiar to their first. For sure a buy for those who like their past work.

I read a good review of the new album yesterday so maybe, despite that Q review, I'll take the plunge.

yes saw them live just after robbers & cowards came out at the glasgow QMU . They are very energetic live and many of their songs sounded better live than the studio versions, saint john for example for which they got the support band to join them onstage and you had like 8 or 9 musicians all going crazy and whipping up a frenzy.

The nme talk bollocks quite frankly and i would only use their poxy little rag for toilet paper.

Glasvegas, Glasvegas, Glasvegas - the NME can't stop going on about them. Like marmite: they're shite.
