New Indie Bands

I need some new indie to listen to. Right now the only new music I have found is the band Bears Repeating. Oh and i'm anticipating the Cold War Kids new album

Re: New Indie Bands

There are some great indie sites out there catering to all genre, try mysongcast.com, noisehead.com, purevolume.com, reverbnation.com
All of these are mostly new artists, looking to find a fanbase and there is such a huge and interesting array of talent. It kills me that so much goes unnoticed.
Also unlike Imeem, lastfm, myspace etc these sites aren't top heavy with big name bands so that the little guys can get a look in.
It's worth a look, rewards are many

Re: New Indie Bands

Fleet Foxes, Noah and the Whale, These New Puritans, Team Waterpolo. The latter were top of Steve Lamaq's playlist thingy (?!) It's good that they're getting more recognition. I'm going to see Noah and the Whale. They could do with more airplay, they're great.

Ummm, Chikita Violenta, indie band from Mexico City. Not that new but really good music.... Sounds like Broken Social Scene.
