OASIS: most overrated band ever?

I like Oasis, I don't think they are nearly as good as the Gallagher bros. think they are but they are talented. Wonderwall (although it is overrated) is a phenomonal song.

I think oasis is actually really good. They are good musicians and write good songs too. Why would you think they're overrated?

With the exception of the controversy over the Beatles comparison, I think that this is one of the best bands of this generation. Not overated.

Oasis is huge...debatably the biggest indie band ever??? But I would say they are not overrated, but deserving of the good ratings they get. Overrated would suggest they dont have the talent to be where they are...I would say they earned the success they have currently.

there are far and away superior bands to oasis,take for example dire straits,now they where and still are underated even though they had the best uk selling album of all time.sometimes music doesnt make sense

I only really liked one of there songs and it was the importance of being idle. other than that i do think they are overrated

i wouldn't say most overrated. I think they have a lot of fans that are true fans then a bunch that are like omg my friends love them so i have to.

I can get on board with this. Oasis always triggers some kind of knee-jerk reaction from me because they were the band that most of my friends were into through middle school so I have some kind of weird nostalgic feelings attached to them but all in all they're meh.

I much prefer Blur tbh and The Cure or older stuff like Joy Division.
