Re: Pixies
Well I know that Brian has heard quite a bit of them, at least. I've only been able to get hold of Srufer Rosa, so far, but it quite blew me away. That blend of minimalism and all-out feedback terror is so brilliant - it also showed me what a lot of the early-90s stuff I listen to was taking off from.

Re: Pixies
I love them. I have Surfer Rosa and Come on Pilgrim on 1 cd. I think it's out of print in that combination. I also have Doolittle. I really like Gigantic, Where is my Mind, Caribou, Monkey Gone to Heaven, and Here Comes your Man. Hopefully, there reunion tour will come to my town.

Re: Pixies
I loooove the pixies....i actually got into it with the singer from ok go (don't know his name, and don't care to know his name) after one of his shows because they decided to cover a myriad of pixies songs and butchered every single one of them...when i pointed it out he claimed that ok go was ten times the band the pixies ever were...and i tried to strangle him...what an ego
