Also, I like Lydia and Paper Route

BUT, Recently I have been checking out some unsigned bands and the one that has REALLY stuck out to me is this band called MALBEC. You can download their EP for free of their site and they are aweosme so check the out.

Guys, found some good stuff over at Indie Rock Cafe...Children Collide, The Lonely Forest, The Long Afternoon, The Voyces, Shadows on a River, and The Twilight Sad. That's my playlist for my vacation so far.

There is a very cool band called Supergloo that i saw in London a few times before they moved to LA.Think you can find them on Jango? or maybe Lastfm? Maybe someone else knows?
Remind me of Black Grape a bit but pretty orig. check them. You might also like Pink Noise from NY I think? Also on jango i think or LAstfm. Cheers

There's a new site that focuses on new indie music and all the reviews take the form of conversations. Check it out if you're looking for recent stuff. The title is 'the heretic collective', it'll pop up in google.

Twin Atlantic will amaze you....they got me more excited about music than any band has recently!

dark dark dark
hungry kids of hungary
the hoosiers

... some of them are australian bands and are pretty alternative, so it can be hard to get their music. but they're still really good!
