European bands you like
Any bands you know of that are big in Europe, but don't have much of a following in the US? I've recently heard "Wonderful" by Gary Go. Not sure if he's indie, but i think so...I think this guys one to watch for. He has music on his website: whoisgarygo
Am I wrong about him? |

Re: European bands you like
Not sure but there is a band named McFly, which in some ways are like the new Beatles of England. They came to USA once, and I drove across 3 states to see them. But they disappeared now. Is Sam Sparrow getting big here?

Not sure about Sam Sparrow. There was an indie "rapper" named MC Lars Horris that I've gotten into in the states and I guess he's got a pretty big following in England? Anyway...I'm obsessed with this track I'm hearing from Gary Go "Wonderful". I wonder how the album will do in the states.

I love Starbucks, Second Cup, and the coffee chain that Canada is known for worldwide, Tim Horton's. My favourite though is a local coffee chain that sells organic coffees, teas and snacks, called Bridgehead.

95% of what I listen to is European.
I'm suprised that bands like The Rakes, Art Brut and The Futureheads don't have much of a following over here. Aside from one of my co-workers I am the only person I know in Canada who knows and/or likes these bands! |

Yup! New bands coming for all corners of the country every year! If you haven't yet heard them I highly recommend the band Winter Gloves.

Re: European bands you like
Hello. I am european. I listen more european music but in the same time i listen american music. I like in particular indie rock and garage rock. I have to say that both continents are good, but europe have more indie bands with better music. I recommend in this moment Glasvegas, Friendly Fires, The Joy formidable, The Horrors, The Big pink, White Lies, Bombay bycicle club, The Rumble strips, Mystery jets and The Cribs. They are all British bands. Great music.
P.S. - I adore to american bands and musicians. |
