Re: Favorite Pearl Jam Album
I wasn't able to vote on that poll. While I love Ten and Vs, Vitalogy and No Code have great moments too - Yield and Binaural again showed a maturing band with brilliant songwriting skills. The only album I don't like very much at all is Riot Act, it just seemed insipid and relied far too much on Eddie's voice and words, with most everyone else seeming to be asleep at the wheel.
I love their live stuff too! |

Re: Favorite Pearl Jam Album
That would be nearly the same as my order too, Ivo, and I'm glad to see someone else who rates Binaural as highly as I do. I really felt it was a new peak, and that made the lacklustre Riot Act so much more of a dissapointment.
I like their live recordings a lot - wish I could see a concert one day. Some of their live versions transcend the studio originals, especially the performance of 'Off He Goes' on 'Live On Two Legs'. |
