Looking for some new bands/songs.

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any bands/songs to me. I want to find more bands such as Milburn/The Libertines/Little Man Tate etc. They are more indie-rock than indie as such and preferably quite recent bands/songs.

I don't really like bands such as Pavement/Guided by Voices/Yeah Yeah Yeahs. And please don't mention Arctic Monkeys haha.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Re: Looking for some new bands/songs.

Anew band based in London I think called Toy are excellent. Saw them support the The Horrors twice last year and I was really into their sound. I would say its a bit new wave and reminded me a little of The Cure crossed with Joy Division. Hopefully they will get an album out this year.

Also come across a new band recently called Effluence. They have a dark, heavy bassline sound to them. Very much like 80s Matchbox B-line Disaster with maybe a bit of Muse from the early days.

Not much around to listen to with these two bands but both are very good and hopefully their will be more releases from both this year.
