Re: Depeche Mode

I used to love listening to them. To be honest I have not followed them in along time. I did not realize that they even had newer stuff out now. I will have to check it out.

No, I haven't heard anything from them for a while. I think the last song I heard was "Enjoy the Silence"! And that was ages ago!
Oh, no, wait I can vaguely remember seeing a new song from them a bit more recently, but I didn't take much notice of it.

Re: Depeche Mode

I think they're still recording. I know they released some material in 05.

Re: Depeche Mode

Playing The Angel was their latest album released in late 2005 if I'm not mistaken.

They are currently "on a break".

On a side note, I definitely didn't expect to see Depeche Mode being discussed in the Goth music forum considering they are electronica.

Rumour is they are currently in the studio, Martin Gore has been said to already have songs written past the demo stage. Estimated album will be released beginning of next year. Looks like Ben Hillier will be the new albums producer. *Cannot fckin wait.*

Glad to see a dM thread up! Favorite band.

on a side note, Dave Gahan released an album 'Hourglass' in October. Worth a listen!

but anyway. depeche fucking rule! music for the masses and violator are my obvious favourites.

Re: Depeche Mode

Never was a huge fan but their song 'It doesn't matter' is one of my all time favourites - so beautiful!
