An interesting site?

here:

http://www.theguitarguy.com/home.htm

It has the chords and lyrics to many old classics.

I've been learning such beauties as 'As Time Goes By', 'Ain't Misbehavin' and 'Lets Face The Music And Dance'.

I thought some of you geetar playing board minstrels might be interested.

One word of warning about these songs though - they all have too many damn chords (and you better brush up on your diminished, minor 7ths, 6ths and suspends)

Rock On

Re: An interesting site?

I couldn't find "Catatina" from "The Deerhunter".

That is the one single song I aspire to learn. Probably would be easiest simply watching close-ups of someone playing the chords.

Re: An interesting site?

I think this piece was written specifically for the film and is probably a tad on the young side to be included in this site.

However, there are a couple of other places I frequent for music so, if I come across it, I'll let you know.

Re: An interesting site?

Quite right - I have no idea why I wrote the name like that - maybe I should stop visiting only early morning and late at night.

And thanks for the link - I should tune-up my guitar for trying that.

Me too. I also wish I had a better understanding of 'art'. I recently went to an exhibition and made a complete idiot out of myself by loudly pointing out that the exhibition would have been better if they had finished the building work first (pointing to a scaffold in the middle of the hall)......it turned out to be a sculpture
