Hendrix is the greatest guitarist who ever lived. Who is better than him? Nobody. You obviously have not drank a bottle of whiskey, snorted cocaine and had sex with a total stranger whilst listening to All Along the Watchtower etc etc. I haven't either. But I can't imagine a better situation.

Rap music is alright, I just think that there is too much of it. The music market is flooded with the black mans vibe and the white mans vibe aint much better. What happened to stadia rock?? I actually like what my girlfirend refers to as 'Airy fairy music'. ie quality music. Girls have no taste in music. I haven't met a single girl who had a good record collection.

Yup, but Iron Maiden and Slayer have much more cooler t-shirt, or night gown in my case.

Seriously, as I stated in another thread, I'm fond of rock : from Chuck Berry to affordementioned Iron Maiden, from all 80 new wave (Cure, Talk Talk) to Seattle based grunge and recent catchy band as Sum 41.
Other than that, I have a fond love for voices - Leonard Cohen, Paolo Conte, Janis Joplin, Georges Brassens or Serge Reggiani - classical music and jazz.

What I strongly dislike (and certainly not saying that's rubbish) are opera, country and techno (all kind). Not fond of most recent rap thing, nor regular pop entertainement.

Oh, and I like most kinds of music. But I grew up on sixties rock 'n' roll, so it is a special favorite. It sort of just depends on what mood I'm in. But I'm almost never in the mood for opera or rap.

Hendrix is a great guitarist but he is not the best and his songs sound like a ten Minute guitar solo which has no plot at all.

Who is a better guitarist than Hendrix? Sorry but you can not name one. Also real rock music has massive guitar solos.... the hard drugs require long solos.
