Hey cal - I don't like Nightwish that well either. Gets too repetitive for me. Do people know that 'Over the hills and far away' is actually a Gary Moore? Might be worthwhile to go check out the original!

Not every song, and not any time, but they were pretty much the last of the rock n roll bad boys.

Not enough different from the original stuff IMNSHO.

My favorite from them is still "Paradise city", and I love Slash's Snake pit.

"Appetite for Destruction" by GNR is arguably one of the best rock albums ever put out, IMO. It took me awhile to get used to the sound of Velvet Revolver, but I do like their style quite a bit and enjoy hearing Slash tear up some solos.
