Re: Your Theme Song

A song that never fails to make me smile is

Mr Blue Sky by ELO

It's one of my cheer-me-up songs! Other ones include

Hey Ya by Outkast
You and Me song by Wannadies
But I Feel Good by Groove Armada
Pretty much anything by Basement Jaxx makes me get up and dance round the room like a loon!
American Dream - Jakkata

There are loads more but that'll do for now. I think it's impossible to have just one theme song, you need at least one for every different mood unless you're me, I have at least 5!

xx

Another fav of mines is '20th century boy' by T-Rex/Marc Bolan. I will give you a prime example, back in the day (pre-marriage, pre-living together, pre-cats, you get the picture), whenever I was trying to explain to someone about a guy I liked, I would say 'he makes me think of 20th century boy'.

Great song, great memories.........

Hmm, there does seem to be different themes for different states of my mind:
Muse - Sing For Absolution
Whitesnake - Is This Love
Marillion - Kayleigh (Which I was named after, and seems to have stuck with me -.-).
Utada Hikaru - Simple And Clean
The Strokes - You Only Live Once
Inme - Firefly
Um.. Okay, I think I should stop there. I'm thinking of too many!

I love that song and I also know someone who was named after it, she's quite a few years younger than you though! I think she must be all of about 8/9 now!

Re: Your Theme Song

Mine would have to be the Mission Impossible theme song. Some girlfriends and I were returning to work from lunch one day and we had a silly moment and made up a story. We were being followed back to the building (it was a large building where lots of people work) and we pretended to be spys. As we got to our floor I got out my phone which had the music on it and we walked in with the music going and posed like Charlie's Angels. Tons of fun!

Re: Your Theme Song

Each of these could be my theme song at various times(not in any order), with some playing more often than others. Thinking of these brought back a few memories, some good some not. I remember dancing on a bar top with a friend of mine while November Rain Blasted the tempo:

Howard Jones - Everlasting Love
Godsmack - Voodoo
Michael McDonald - Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing
Murry Head - One Night in Bangkok
Oda Kazumasa - Kira-Kira
Guns N' Roses - November Rain
Todd Agnew - Grace Like Rain
Vangelis - Hymn
Jimmy Buffet - Margaritaville
CollectiveSoul - Heavy
Angun - Snow on The Sahara
Bobby Caldwell - Heart of Mine
Jay-Z - Money Ain't A Thang
Martin Page - In the House of Stone and Light
Big Mountain - Baby, Te Quiero Ati
ODB - Got Your Money
Foreigner - Until the End of Time
Trio - Da, Da, Da
Garth Brooks - Cowboy Bill
Metallica - Of Wolf and Man
Moody Blues - The Other Side of Life
Tina Turner - Simply the Best
38 Special - Hold On Loosely
Shaggy - It Wasn't Me
Eagles - Desperado
Sean Paul - We Be Burnin'
Young Jeezy - Soul Survivor
Ja Rule - Murder Reigns
Willie Nelson - My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Gibson-Miller Band - Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys

There is one always running through the background, and if I had to pick only one this would be it.

Kenny Rogers - The Gambler
