Foreign-language music doesn't tend to break into the UK music scene easily - however, I've got a Goth rock compilation album with a track by Rammstein, called "Sonne" - pretty good actually.

Anyone else here listened to Rammstein?

How about non-English music in general?

Oh, yeah I've got some Rammstein kicking about here. Damn fine stuff. If your like "Sonne" pick up the album it's from. It's called "Mutter" and I can tell you from first hand experience, it's class.

Eek. Enjoyed them for about three weeks 5 years back, then got tired of their one-dimensional sound. Some of those songs get realllly annoying.

Yep had some top nights out to Rammsteins music, mostly the ever popular DuHast. Thats why I was so yinned off when someone nicked me album of them.
Im getting some foriegn metal recorded on 2 a mini disc by a friend, let you know what I think of the wider scene then.

Rammstein is great. I've seen their live performance three times in Helsinki, and I have to say that their show is always very impressing. Mutter and Reise Reise are their best albums... best songs, hmm... Spieluhr from Mutter and perhaps Ohne Dich from Reise Reise. A great band

I've listened to rammstein for a few yeas now. Links and Ich Will are two of my favorites. As to music in other languages, I listen to a bit of J-rock and just gaelic folk music. I don't know the band names because 1) I can't pronounce them and 2) I just have a bad memory

The only time I've ever heard one of Rammstein's songs is while laying FFX and it's played at one of the last boss battles. lol

i can't understand why you all like rammstein so much. i mean the music is ok but the texts....i don't know that much about you guys but i think if you would understand the texts and the meaninga of them you wouldn't like it that much.

but i guess you can enjoy to listen to them if you don't understand them....
the meaning of music can be important, too. and there are some other good german bands.
