Re: Your first and last album
First? Journey's Escape. Last? Jimmy Buffet's Songs You Know by Heart (purchased in '93 I believe - I haven't bought music in so long it is almost silly!)

Re: Your first and last album
The first album I ever bought was Black Sabbath "Paranoid" when I was 10 years old (and insane) because I thought the song "Iron Man" was AWESOME (picture me making metal hands here).
I can't wuite remember the last album I bought. I think it was either "Pictures at an Exhibition" or "Feast of Wire" by Calexico. |

Re: Your first and last album
First album I ever bought was Reba McEntire Rumor Has It. That was before I knew the horrors of country. The last album I bought, well I was given it by my uncle, was the musical Hair soundtrack. Can't remember the last one I actually bought.

Re: Your first and last album
First album...well, the first album of any kind was some sort of collection of excerpts from classical pieces for kids. I was given this when I was four or five years old and all I remember of it is that it had part of the "Grand Canyon Suite" on it. I still love that piece of music.
First real album (by which I mean rock/pop) was "Meet the Beatles", which my parents bought for me when I was in second grade and mad about the Beatles. The most recent...I bought a used copy of U2's "Rattle and Hum" to replace the tape that didn't come with me when we moved. The most recent thing I bought that I never owned before was a Billie Holliday compilation, I think.

Re: Your first and last album
First English album I bought (trust me, you would neither know nor care for the Croatian ones) was Kylie by guess who
back in 1988...the second was Ten Good Reasons by Jason Donovan...so shoot me, I know ![]() The last were the scores to The Last Samurai and King Arthur...And another Croatian band who has a mild success in the UK about 20 years ago...though I doubt anyone will remember Wild Strawberries ![]() |
