The 1000 best songs ever.

What would you like to submit for the titles of best songs ever?
I know that it is hard just to choose one so I suggest people submit three or four.

I choose:
Alice In Chains - Bleed the freak.
Enigma- Sadness part one.
Metallica- For Whom The Bell Tolls.
Bon Jovi- In These Arms.

Re: The 1000 best songs ever.

Hmm, limiting this to less than about ten is going to be hard, but I'll choose 3 or 4 at random:

Pearl Jam-Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town (I think that's accurate:S)
Smashing Pumpkins-Tonight, Tonight (urgh this is hard, had to choose between a half dozen PJ and Pumpkins songs)
Godspeed You! Black Emperor-Storm
Opeth...can't choose

This is just impossible, might be easier if we could each choose 1000

This system is inherently flawed, unless you intend to collect several thousands of nominations and compile the most common.

I also have no idea.

"Can you feel it" by the Jacksons is great. It was playing outside of an electrics shop the other day and I had to consciously stop myself from dancing across the shopfront.

Re: The 1000 best songs ever.

I nominate:
Alive: Pearl jam (alys make me energetic)
Siva: Smashing pumpkins
enter sandman :metallica
and ooo lets think Zombie: cranberries

Far too many to chooe from prob should have some queen in there too, but as bohemian rhapsody wins everything in every all time best ever song polls gonna not vote for it on principle, and go for hmm perhaps a poll for best song for each band would be better then pick out of those.

...I like that question better than, "what's your one favorite song of all time?" ...never have an answer.
