Led Zeppelin and Tolkein
Led Zeppelin is one of my favourite groups, so was checking out via Google for more info.
Not sure if anyone else has seen it but there seems to be a connection between Robert Plant's lyrics and Tolkein's LOTR. A very interesting concept, although I am not sure if it is not someones vivid imagination. It looks convincing written down, although I just cannot picture Robert Plant writing the lyrics specifically about LOTR. Has any Zeppelin fan further evidence that this is maybe true? |

Re: Led Zeppelin and Tolkein
The lyrics to the Battle of Evermore are cryptically about Tolkien's works...

And a little known fact is that Robert Plant used to have a dog called "Strider" and he used to shout out it's name at the end of "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" when they played it live... |
