The one day, flciking through the TV channels this is what i find on Skuzz:

- Ozzy Osbourne -
- Paranoid -

so i thought this would be good... hmm... no.
the opening riff is speeded up and sounds like it was played on a tiny plastic guitar for kids.. half way through the song you here ozzy shouting something like hell yeah raise the roof, c'mon **** yeah and things like this... which completely destroys the mood of the song, not to mention the whole thing has been speeded up and he has completely killed his own song which was originally a masterpiece.

Paranoid is a black sabbath-song. And even though ozzy osbourne was a part of black sabbath he was not the only member and the whole band should get credit for writing the song.

i can't see what the problem is. the original still exists, just listen to it instead.

For some great remake versions of Black Sabbath songs I would recommend the two 'Nativity In Black' tribute albums. Although Megadeth's version of 'Paraniod' is probably one of the weaker covers I think it's quite funny at the end when Dave Mustaine yells at Nick Mendoza for still drumming like mad when the rest of the band has stopped playing.

Re: Damn you ozzy!

Sorry, that should be Nick Menza, not Mendoza. No idea who Nick Mendoza is!
