Luckiest Man Alive!

Apart from other 'types' of reasoning...

Chris Martin

I dont make a point of pandering to any Media...
But one thing that didnt escape me was ... Paltrow!

Is this man, Chris Martin, the LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE ?

#1 He has talent.
#2 He is in Coldplay
#3 They made some money
#4 He married a certain woman
#5 They are still together
#6 They have children
#7 They are both so clever
...
Could go on.
...

Just my ernest and ignorant opinion, of course.
Sensible replies only

Re: Luckiest Man Alive!

I agree with the Gwyneth part, but Coldplay is not my cup of tea (which doesn't say he doesn't have talent).

Re: Luckiest Man Alive!

Yeah, everything is relative.

I picture it as one humongous mixing desk...
With sliders for each and every aspect...
Left is negative - right is positive (opinion)

Chris' overall sliders appear quite lop-sided!

Does the analogy do 'it' for you? Heh :P

Re: Luckiest Man Alive!

I see your point there HeiroGlyph... though I'm not Coldplay's biggest fan.

Re: Luckiest Man Alive!

Dave Bucker is the drummer of Papa Roach, which isn't a real good band, but you could consider them mildly succesful. And he is married to Liv Tyler...

Ironic, innit, considering the bloke's made his fortune by whining.

Re: Luckiest Man Alive!

Oh, this thread is going to be ALL about envy

Knivesout says 'ironic'.
Marky laughs.

I seriously don't think Chris is the luckiest man alive, of course.

I like Coldplay. Lots of reasons for that alone.
I'm male with red blood...
All of Gwyneth Paltrow's roles on screen have been 'well done', in some way. Looks hardly have to come into it (unlike as for Liv!!!)...

Talent!
Appreciation.

Irony & humour *wry smile*

Or I liked Knives irony better than yours. Oh, no, that's sheer impossible.

My own irony could claim to be the subtlest of knives!

Or... Knives' remark was simply funnier.
